For those who love black and white color combinations, Seiko QXM478BRH Evening at the Ball is the right choice. The background is black with refined goldtone ornaments and matte gold hands. Stars around the dial, pillars, fence, candelabrum, windows on the right, and the left side of the dial make it look like some kind of gala hall. That’s why it’s not surprising why they call this clock Evening at the Ball.
It’s constructed with a brown wooden case. On the hour, the opening melody starts to play, and at first 20 LED lights sparkles intermittently from the bottom to the top of the clock in different colors. At the same time dial breaks into four equal parts and rotates, revealing a turning variegated decorative wheel with 4 Swarovski crystals.
The Seiko QXM478BRH clock plays two sets of melodies, in total 12 Hi-Fi melodies, including opening and closing melody. After the main melody, the dial clock slowly goes back in place and closes up, while the closing melody plays.
The clock also features one-way rotating pendulum with 12 Swarovski crystals in blue and red, volume control and the light sensor that disengages all the music, chimes and movement automatically, glass crystal, demonstration button and on/off switch. Clock requires 4D batteries. Dimensions: 16.5W x 4.25D x 18.25H inches.
